As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing machine vision algorithms and systems for motion analysis in sports applications. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and product managers to create innovative solutions that address complex challenges in the sports/gambling domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong computer vision background, motion analysis experience, and a deep understanding of the mechanics and techniques involved in bowling or other ball sports.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms and systems for real-time motion analysis in sports applications, focusing on bowling, golf, or other ball sports.
• Collaborate with sports scientists and domain experts to understand the specific needs and challenges of athletes and coaches in the target sports.
• Leverage machine learning, deep learning, and other advanced techniques to improve the accuracy and robustness of motion analysis algorithms.
• Develop and implement software for processing and analyzing video data from various sources, including high-speed cameras, depth sensors, and wearable devices.
• Conduct experiments and evaluations to validate the performance of machine vision algorithms and systems, using both synthetic and real-world data.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate machine vision solutions into our software and hardware platforms.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in computer vision, motion analysis, and sports science research, and contribute to the ongoing innovation efforts at Super Money.
Requirements:
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, focusing on computer vision and motion analysis.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in machine vision engineering, with a strong emphasis on motion analysis and sports applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, and experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning techniques and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch or Keras.
• A strong understanding of the mechanics and techniques involved in bowling or other ball sports, and a passion for sports and athletic performance.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design and implement creative solutions to complex challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency to ensure smooth communication within the team
Preferred Qualifications:
• 7 years experience or a Masters / Ph.D. in a relevant field is a plus.
• Experience with motion capture systems and other motion analysis technologies.
• Familiarity with biomechanics, sports science, or kinesiology.
• Experience in sports applications.
